This Sunday 13th November

Is Remembrance Sunday.  We will start our service at 11.00am with 2 minutes of silent prayer giving thanks to God for all those that gave their lives so we could live in the freedom and peace we enjoy today in this country.

Pastor Tom Forryan of Derby Road Baptist Church will lead the service and bring us God's word.

Teddy Bear's picnic

This Thursday, straight after toddler group join us for our annual Teddy Bear's picnic. Bring your favourite bear, some lunch and join us in the hall.

Six weeks of prayer

Today marks an important period in our Church we are having 6 weeks of sustained prayer below is a copy of our prayer card to help us with this please pray whenever you can.

Beulah Baptist Church Prayer Card

The desire of our lives should be that of Phil 3:10 “I want to know Christ….”

As a church we want to seek the LORD (Matt 7), come to His throne of Grace, and have a season of prayer

In and of ourselves we can do nothing – we need the LORD to add to his work (1 Cor 3: 7 So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow”).Ps 127v1 – The LORD must build His house and establish His work at Beulah Baptist Church. Let us apply to our Heavenly Father in diligent prayer, to seek His blessing.

1.        Where are we as a fellowship? Are we going wrong? Humble us and lead us (Ps 25v 4)

2.       Holy Spirit please visit us, enliven us and grant to us more of a desire to please our Heavenly Father. How can we love Christ more & live this out in our lives?

3.       Eldership – a mature man to help Jonathan in Eldership

4.       Conversions and baptisms (LORD please save our non-Christian family & friends)

5.       Evangelism – what can we do? (remember we just need to be faithful, God will add the fruit)

6.       What is our way forward?

7.       Financially independent (March 2007)

A thanksgiving service for Brenda's life and service to the Lord and his people is planned for Tuesday 9^th August at 2.30pm at Martyrs' Memorial Baptist Church, Station Road, Beccles.

Induction service

Our friend Chris Hawthorne of Highbury Baptist Church is taking up the pastorate at St. John's Wood in October.  On the 22nd October he is having his induction service. The speaker will be Dick Lucas. Please let me know if you would like to go.

Well here I am cleaning the bouncy castle before our toddler group barbecue last week. No jokes about if I was mistaken for the bouncy castle or if I used my own hot air to fill it!
